It was my first winter in Canada as an immigrant. I was a 1st year student at the moment; eager to see new places and learn about my new home. I found my aunt's camera, and taking photos with the old film camera was my sole hobby.
I remember that night vividly. It was a cold, windy night in November. I went to Nathan Philips Square for the first time, and instantly I was mesmerized by seeing the people ice-skating and Christmas songs, and the Christmas tree of course.
I tried to capture the moment by taking a shot. I hope it delivers the feeling; it does for me.
