 Adam White

Son of the Mask

June 20, 2017

This images was part of my sons senior photos. He wanted something different from what all the other seniors were doing in town.

Being that I used to work primarily in the alternative genre' I had some gas masks lying around and thought what could more different than this?

He loved the idea right off. Plus this is really his style as it is any way. We also did one with the Guy Fawkes mask , but this one turned out better than the other one. SO this one turned out to be my favorite image from the set.

He really liked it as well, and has a lot of comments on it from his classmates. Sadly most parents in town won't let their seniors do fun and creative images like this for their sets.

The breakdown: We set up a back drop in the studio as well as a fog machine. We used Profoto D1 kits with a beauty dish to create the effects. It is a pretty simple set up really. I metered for the scene and this is the end result after developing and running thru PS to clean up any spots on the negs and cropping.

Hope you find this image enjoyable!
