This particular moment was captured in Sky Valley, CA on Thanksgiving day (2016). My wife and I found out we were expecting our first child so she planned our "Baby Moon" trip which consisted of us staying in a Boles Aero camper for several nights in the desert.
We were hoping to have interaction with other life forms (people), but that wasn't the case. We decided to set out on a walk and I took my tiny Olympus mjuii with me stocked with some TriX400. We walked towards what appeared to be another campsite most likely used during Coechella festivals in the springtime. We came across organized cement blocks representative of a mere glimpse into some type of social interaction.
It really brought forth the realization that we were alone, but the truth of the matter was that we had each other. We enjoyed our time in the desert and look forward to many more adventures, but we will soon have a +1 with us!
