I tagged along on a photo walk that occurred last fall in Greenwood, a small, delta town about two hours north of Jackson. I, along with several others, explored for a few hours, observing and learning about this town in every way we could. This front porch struck me and made me laugh a bit. The homeowners so clearly rejected the idea of a visitor that it was deemed necessary to affix what seemed like hundreds of "keep out" signs to every empty spot on the house. It was a sense of irony because of how friendly locals had been all day, except for this one front porch. My inner pre-teen dared me to approach the front door. My current self just snapped the photo and moved along.
